Bagdogra in the state of West Bengal (India) is the nearest airport approximate 4 hours drive from this place. Druk Air Cancellation Policy
For the airfare, you will be subject the cancellation rules set by Druk Air (The National Airline) for the purchased of tickets is as follows:
* Cancellation of Druk Air tickets regardless of season or number of days prior to departure are subject to at least a 15% penalty of the airfare price.
* During the peak season (Jan – June, May, September, December) Druk Air cancellations made 60 days to 30 days before departure are subject to 50% penalty of the airfare price.
* Cancellations made within 30 days prior to departure are not eligible for a refund.
* During the low season (July, August) Druk Air cancellations made 21 days to 14 days before departure are subject to 50% penalty of the airfare price.
* Cancellations made within 14 days prior to departure are not eligible for a refund.
* Passengers who fail to show up for a flight will not be eligible for a refund.
* Lost tickets are nonrefundable.
Passengers who reschedule their flights will be subject to the following rebooking fees:
48 hours before departure: $11
36 hours before departure: $22
24 hours before departure: $33
Airport Tax is US$ 14.00
All passengers are allowed registered baggage of 20 kilograms for Economy class and 30 kilograms for Business class.

There shall be no charge for the number of days of delays in arrival of visitors due to weather conditions, Druk Air problems or roadblocks.

Customs & Regulations
The Bhutanese authorities strictly prohibit the export of any religious Antiquity or antiques of any type. All personal electronics, Cameras, Video Cameras, Computers and personal electronic equipment may be brought into the country but they must be listed on the customs form provided on arrival at Paro and will be checked on departure. Two liters of Alcohol and reasonable quantity of cigarettes may be brought in to the country without duty.
Distance & driving time between various places in Bhutan
All mode of transport within Bhutan is by motor vehicle as there is no domestic airline or trains. However, motor roads are well maintained and link all parts of the country. The mountainous terrain and winding roads restrict the average driving speed of vehicle to less than 35 kilometers per hour.
