Terms and Conditions

By booking a trip with Adventure Land Nepal Tours and Travels Pvt. Ltd., you agree to the following terms and conditions. These rules are designed to ensure transparency, safety, and a clear understanding of our mutual responsibilities.

1. Booking and Deposit

Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable deposit of 20% to 30% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

Final Payment: The remaining balance must be settled upon your arrival in Kathmandu before the trip departure. We accept cash (USD, Euro, GBP, NPR) or credit cards (subject to a 3.5% bank surcharge).

Last-Minute Bookings: We accept bookings up to 48 hours before departure for Nepal tours, provided full payment is made at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. If you must cancel your trip, the following charges apply based on when we receive your written notice:

30+ days before departure: Loss of the initial deposit only.

15–29 days before departure: 40% of the total trip cost is charged.

7–14 days before departure: 70% of the trip cost is charged.

Less than 7 days or “No Show”: 100% of the trip cost is charged (no refund).

Post-Departure: No refunds are given if a client leaves a trip voluntarily or involuntarily after it has commenced.

3. Trip Postponement

Instead of canceling, you may choose to postpone your trip.

Notice must be given at least 20 days before departure.

A small administrative fee may apply, but your deposit will be transferred to your future travel dates (valid for up to 2 years).

4. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

Adventure Land Nepal is not liable for changes or cancellations caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to:

Natural disasters, weather disturbances (e.g., flight cancellations to Lukla), political instability, strikes, or government restrictions.

In such cases, we reserve the right to reroute the itinerary or offer an alternative trip of similar value. We are not responsible for additional costs (extra hotel nights, international flight changes) arising from these delays.

5. Travel Insurance (Compulsory)

For your safety, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all clients.

Your policy must cover medical expenses, personal accidents, and emergency helicopter evacuation.

For cultural tours, we also highly recommend coverage for trip cancellation and loss of luggage.

6. Risk and Liability

While we prioritize your safety, travel in Nepal involves inherent risks (altitude, terrain, weather).

By booking, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Adventure Land Nepal acts as an agent for transport, hotels, and other services and shall not be held liable for personal injury or loss of property unless caused by our direct negligence.

7. Health and Fitness

Clients are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit for their chosen package.

Please inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking so our guides can be properly prepared.
