Dhulikhel is situated in the central part of Nepal. This is just 32 km from the Kathmandu valley. The main attractions of Dhulikhel are the grand and panoramic mountains views, numerous temples, and different types of landscape and a diversity of people. This ancient town is situated 30 km east of Kathmandu. It is a popular Himalayan viewpoint. From there you can have a complete panoramic view of the snowy ranges from Karyolung in the east to Himalchuli in the west. The old part of this town is an interesting area to wander around with some fine old Nepalese buildings and several interesting temples. Panauti is an old Newari settlement, which is 32 km Southeast of Kathmandu. It has some the most interesting in the valley and is set on the confluence of two rivers. The village also boasts one of the only two known pre-17th century structure of Mahadev temple. Apart from other many temples it is a pleasure to wander the town’s brick paved streets to view the magnificently carved rest houses, stupas and stone water taps.
