The Hindu Pilgrimage Tour is a beloved tradition in Nepal, where the majority of the population follows Hinduism with deep faith in its gods and festivals. With over 65% of Nepalese identifying as Hindus, the country boasts numerous temples, shrines, and deities integral to Hindu culture. This pilgrimage offers a profound exploration of Hindu traditions, unveiling historical and artistic treasures alongside various representations of gods and goddesses within temples.

According to Hindu beliefs, each deity possesses distinct powers. Visitors to these sacred sites partake in rituals such as offering flowers, performing animal sacrifices, applying a Tika on the forehead, and offering prayers. These acts are believed to grant peace of mind and pave the way for success in future endeavors. Nepal’s diverse cities and regions host a plethora of temples dedicated to different gods and goddesses.

The Hindu Pilgrimage Tour extends beyond Kathmandu, encompassing other prominent cities like Pokhara, Muktinath, and Janakpur, each with its rich Hindu history. These destinations also offer insights into Buddhist traditions, which share historical ties with Hinduism, originating from the same cultural milieu. While the tour predominantly focuses on Hinduism in Nepal, it also incorporates additional enriching activities.

Many Hindu devotees undertake this pilgrimage to worship sacred sites such as the Shivalingam and the revered Pashupatinath Temple, believed to have the power to fulfill devotees’ wishes.

Highlighted destinations include the Pashupatinath Temple, Budhaneilkantha Temple, and Changunarayan in Kathmandu, along with the Bindubasini Temple and Barahi Temple in Pokhara.
