We did Nepal Package Tour 12 days which led us to Daman, Chitwan, Lumbini, Palpa Tansen, Pokhara then drive to Kathmandu. The Everest Base Camp journey was truly unforgettable! I had the pleasure of sharing it with amazing companions who not only exchanged stories and experiences but also provided unwavering support whenever anyone faced challenges. Although we’ve returned to our everyday lives now, I’ll forever cherish their presence in my memories and stories.

Our original plan was to spend 8 days in the Himalayas visiting ABC. However, on the second day of the tour, we made a spontaneous decision to forgo the base camp and instead opted for the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek. This deviation turned out to be an unforgettable experience as we were rewarded with a breathtaking panorama from Poon Hill, encompassing not only Annapurna but also Dhaulagiri. We were delighted with our guide’s flexibility in accommodating our change of plans. Throughout the trek, we consistently received the best possible accommodations with showers and scenic views whenever available. Our porter, along with Gyanenra and Chandra from the office, were also exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The only downside was the unpredictable weather, which led to some challenging days on the mountain. Despite this, we remained undeterred and still aspire to revisit the Himalayas someday with Adventure Land Nepal.

I can’t express sufficient praise for Nepal Trekking Experts. I undertook the Everest Base Camp Trek in October 2023 and from the moment I made the booking, Chij was readily available to address all my inquiries. The hotel accommodations in Kathmandu were exceptional, situated right in the heart of Thamel, which allowed for any last-minute shopping needs before commencing the trek.

My guide, Khusi, was not only highly knowledgeable but also a wonderful companion throughout the journey. The tea houses we stayed in along the route were consistently clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, I experienced altitude sickness on the seventh day, but both Khusi and Chij demonstrated remarkable skill and assistance in helping me descend the mountain, especially considering the challenges posed by Lukla’s closure for six consecutive days and the high demand for helicopter services.

Despite having to cut my trek short due to illness, it was still an incredible experience overall. I wholeheartedly recommend Nepal Trekking Experts to anyone considering trekking in Nepal.
