Our main guide, Prem, was nothing short of exceptional. Friendly, knowledgeable, and equipped with excellent management skills, he adeptly handled the challenges posed by two sick trekkers. Prem’s team, comprising assistant guide JIvan and porters Hri, Ram, and Sri, surpassed all expectations with their professionalism and camaraderie. Despite our slower pace, Prem never once complained, instead encouraging us to trek at our own rhythm. Accommodations and meals throughout the journey were consistently excellent.

We highly recommend requesting two guides for added security in case of emergencies. Additionally, it’s advisable to discuss your preferred walking pace with your guide in advance to ensure timely arrivals at each destination.

The well-planned daily itineraries allowed for manageable distances, with ample time to explore the charming villages where we lodged. As newcomers to Nepal, we initially balked at the mandatory guide policy, preferring to trek independently. However, our perception shifted entirely after embarking on the Poon Hill trek with Adventure Land Nepal and our guide, Gyanendra.

Our journey to Everest View Trek via helicopter return was truly unforgettable. The breathtaking sight of the snow-capped peaks left us speechless. Despite falling short of reaching EBC due to acute altitude sickness on the final day, the experience remains incredibly worthwhile—a remarkable adventure of a lifetime.

This remarkable trip owes much to Adventure Land Nepal and our main guide, Khadka, along with his dedicated team of guides. They demonstrated exceptional attentiveness to our needs and provided invaluable assistance throughout the trek. Khadka even carried one of our members to a clinic during a medical emergency—a testament to their commitment to our well-being. Though we encountered a hiccup with the lodge on the first day (opting for Deluxe Accommodation), Khadka swiftly resolved the issue for the remainder of our stay.

Adventure Land Nepal proved highly responsive to our inquiries and requirements, facilitating additional hotel nights and arranging helicopter transport with utmost reliability. Moreover, their integrity was evident in promptly refunding our payment for the helicopter transport, which became unnecessary. Without hesitation, I would choose Adventure Land Nepal and Khadka for future expeditions. It’s worth noting, however, that relying on helicopter schedules can be as unpredictable as the whims of weather.

Since the moment I arranged this journey from New Zealand, my experience with ALN has been nothing short of exceptional. Chij’s responsiveness and efficiency in addressing my inquiries were remarkable—I often wondered if he ever takes a break! Upon my arrival in Kathmandu, the care extended to me was exemplary. Rakesh, my wonderful guide, greeted me at the airport and escorted me to the delightful Everest Base Camp Trek, where I savored their scrumptious Aloo Ghobi dish. The transition to the flight to Lukla was seamless, courtesy of Rakesh’s impeccable organizational skills.

The trek itself surpassed all expectations. Rakesh’s profound knowledge of the region was invaluable, and I couldn’t have navigated without his guidance. Accompanied by my ever-smiling porter, Karna, I ventured from Lukla to the enchanting Everest Base Camp—a feat I never imagined achieving. Throughout the journey, I was impeccably cared for, with the guesthouses offering exceptional hospitality and delicious meals. Rakesh’s detailed planning ensured I was well-prepared for each day’s adventures.

During our trip to Nepal, we embarked on tours of Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, and Nagarkot.
