You can’t go wrong with Adventure Land Nepal because it is made up of good people and well organized/run. Maila was our Mardi Himal trek guide, and you couldn’t ask for a better guide. Maila is a highly skilled guide who was funny, caring, motivating, and a patient guide dealing with my frequent questioning of “how much longer.” Our porters consisted of Ram, Mohan, Hari. They were a kind, friendly, attentive group always there for us. The owner, Chij, was always responsive and available to answer our questions. I was not physically prepared for this last minute trek so thank you for the kindness and encouragement helping me get past the day 1 climb that almost broke me.

We’ve recently returned from our trip to Nepal and were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional arrangements made by Adventure Land Nepal. From airport pickup to drop-off, every aspect of our journey was meticulously organized. A special thank you to Mr. Chij and our driver (guide) Mr. Prem, whose efforts made our stay in Nepal easy and comfortable. Mr. Chij was incredibly helpful and accommodating, readily accepting last-minute changes and fulfilling our wishes. For instance, when we spontaneously decided to go river rafting one morning, he made it happen, and we were enjoying the adventure by the afternoon. Adventure Land Nepal provided excellent service throughout the entire 21-day Annapurna Circuit trek. My guide, Gobinda, was not only friendly and professional but also incredibly knowledgeable about the area. His 12 years of trekking and guiding experience were evident, as he made each day enjoyable and fun, even during the longer and tougher stretches.

Gobinda’s expertise put me at ease right from the start, especially with the challenges ahead, such as the Throng La pass. He was flexible with the itinerary, which enhanced the overall experience, and always chose trekking trails over roadways whenever possible.

The acclimatization to altitude was well-managed, and I would highly recommend Gobinda’s services to both novice and experienced trekkers alike. The accommodation and food choices were top-notch, and I will definitely request to trek with Santosh and Adventure Land Nepal Company on my next trek in Nepal. A solid 10/10. Our trek was overall enjoyable, and we were pleased to begin with a UNESCO tour day trip. Chij from sales was incredibly accommodating, facilitating a last-minute addition of my father and ensuring he had a private room throughout the hike. Our guide, Rakesh, was both kind and highly knowledgeable about the area. We also appreciated the cheerful demeanor of our porters, Ram and Chitra.

However, I rate this experience 4 out of 5 due to communication issues. Despite prior confirmation that gluten-free options would be available, my husband experienced a reaction, which contributed to his physical decline. Though a Medevac wasn’t necessary, we opted for a helicopter evacuation after our stay at Pheriche, arranged with great assistance from the team, especially considering payment difficulties we faced until reaching KTM due to phone issues.

While the vistas were truly breathtaking, we were somewhat disappointed by the number of queues encountered when crossing ridges. This was not the fault of Ace the Himalaya, but rather our own underestimation.

Our party of 5 individuals enlisted the services of Adventure Land Nepal for the recent Ghorepani hike in December 2024. The assistance provided by Kanya and Ram, our guides and porters, was truly exceptional. I am thoroughly impressed by their professionalism and unwavering dedication.

The guides and porters consistently went above and beyond, offering assistance such as carrying additional loads for weary members or acting as vigilant “safety officers” and “doctors,” ensuring our well-being throughout the journey.

Beyond the gratifying experience of completing the Ghorepani Poon Hill hike, our time spent with the guides and porters was filled with memorable moments. Over the course of nine days, we forged friendships, shared laughter, sang Nepali songs, engaged in morning warm-up exercises, and enjoyed happy hours and farewell dinners together.

I wholeheartedly endorse Adventure Land Nepal and highly recommend their services.

The guides and porters are always around to give a helping hand to the extent of shouldering additional load by offering to carry the backpack of members who were too tired. They acted as “safety officers” and “doctors” constantly looking out for any danger and regularly checking on our health condition.

Beside the great experience of completing Annapurna Base Camp hike, it was also memorable moments spending time with the guides and porters. We become friends after the 9 days hikes and enjoyed the laughers, singing Nepal song, morning warm-up exercise, happy hours, farewell dinners, etc together with them.
