We Completed on the “11 Days Gokyo Lakes and Gokyo Ri Trek” with Adventure Land Nepal, and it was truly a memorable experience.

Chij’s professionalism was evident throughout. He promptly addressed all our inquiries even before our trip was confirmed. Upon our arrival in Kathmandu, he briefed us thoroughly to ensure we were well-prepared for the hike. After the trek, he took the time to pick us up and sincerely listened to our feedback and impressions.

Ram Lama served as our excellent guide. Knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, and incredibly patient, he maintained a suitable pace for us throughout the trek. Ram was adaptable, tailoring the journey to our preferences, and ensuring we had ample time for acclimatization.

It was evident that both Chij and Ram have a deep love for Nepal, trekking, and the mountains.

As for the trek itself, the beauty of the sights, the warmth of the people, the delicious food, and the stunning nature are beyond words. The Gokyo Lakes provided a fantastic alternative to the often crowded EBC trek.

Our route took us from Kathmandu to Lukla, Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Dole, Machermo, Gokyo, and back. We stayed overnight in various lodges and tea houses, with three meals included each day (drinks at our own expense). Interestingly, the accommodations at higher altitudes, though described as more “basic,” were surprisingly comfortable and clean, with fewer occupants compared to those at lower elevations like Namche Bazaar.

What an incredible trek it was! Gobinda, my guide, truly provided a remarkable experience, earning a solid 10/10 rating from me. His exceptional friendliness, coupled with his wealth of knowledge about Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek and the surroundings, added immense value to the journey. Gobinda consistently addressed my queries about the mountains and nature, ensuring I remained engaged and informed throughout.

Moreover, his attentiveness to my needs was impeccable, promptly catering to my requests for food, tea, fruits, and more. I wholeheartedly endorse Gobinda as a guide to my friends and family planning trips to Nepal in the future. From beginning to end, the experience was outstanding.

We opted for a trek to Langtang Valley with Nepal Adventure Land Nepal, and from the very beginning, Chij proved to be an invaluable resource. He was highly informative and responsive, providing detailed information via email and WhatsApp regarding the trek’s logistics, costs, and packing lists. Chij also addressed our concerns about altitude, ensuring we felt prepared and confident.

The logistical arrangements for the trip were flawless. We were efficiently picked up from the airport and transported to our destinations as planned. Despite the challenges posed by the Dashain festival and numerous closures, Chij and his team secured bus tickets for us to reach the trek’s starting point.

The trek itself was breathtakingly beautiful, offering us a glimpse into a way of life vastly different from our own. Our guide, JIvan, and porter, Kamal, were exemplary in their sincerity, assistance, and knowledge. JIvan, fluent in English, provided us with insightful commentary on the historical, geographical, and cultural significance of the places we encountered. Both Dhan and Connor demonstrated remarkable perceptiveness and intuition, ensuring a pace suitable for both my spouse and me. Jivan even graciously offered to carry my spouse’s bag when she struggled with altitude.

Embarking on my journey to Mera Peak with Nepal Adventure Land Nepal was an adventure from the start, showcasing the company’s exceptional service and adaptability. Anticipation and excitement filled me as I awaited the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. However, a delay due to congested air traffic initially dampened my spirits. Yet, Adventure Land Nepal swiftly arranged an alternative route through Ramechhap, turning the setback into an unexpected adventure. Their quick action ensured minimal disruption, allowing me to focus solely on the journey ahead.

From the scenic countryside to encounters with charming locals, every moment brimmed with excitement.
