My friend and I spent 13 wonderful days in Nepal in late April, where we indulged in the Ghorepani and Poonhill trekking, other 8 days Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan Tour and city sightseeing adventures. Our 7-day trek to Ghorepnai Poon hill Trek, coupled with 2 days each in Kathmandu and Pokhara, offered a blend of adventure and cultural exploration. Unfortunately, haze obscured some of the views during our trek, and we encountered challenges due to a fuel crisis, resulting in the cancellation of a few planned excursions. Despite these setbacks, Chij from the travel agency made commendable efforts to accommodate our plans to the best of his abilities.

Throughout our journey, our porter and driver proved to be friendly and helpful, providing support and assistance whenever needed. However, we were surprised to find that we did not have a tour guide during our city visits. While this was unexpected, it didn’t significantly impact our experience.

Overall, while we faced some unexpected obstacles during our trip, the efforts made by Chij and the hospitality of our porter and driver ensured that our journey remained enjoyable. Despite the challenges, we appreciated the opportunity to explore the beauty of Nepal and immerse ourselves in its rich culture.
