We decided on a quick trip for the short Ghorepanni Poon Hill trek and were pleasantly surprised by how seamless the booking process was, even at such short notice. The WhatsApp contact provided an instant response, and within no time, we found ourselves flying out the next day. Upon arrival, our trek permits were ready, and our guide awaited us at the hotel, ready to greet us.

Opting for a package that included all meals and accommodation made our journey hassle-free, albeit slightly pricier compared to other options. However, it would have been helpful to know the daily food allowance to avoid overspending, especially when opting for lighter meals. We encountered some tea houses lacking hot showers and heated dining areas, leaving us quite cold on some evenings. It’s advisable to pack appropriately with down jackets, hats, and gloves.

Our guide, Kanya, added greatly to the experience, bringing a sense of fun while allowing us to enjoy the mountains at our own pace. Although our legs may feel like jelly now, we’re grateful for the trip.

Despite our initial apprehensions, especially considering my husband and I are both senior citizens, Mr. Chij’s constant communication and meticulous coordination ensured a seamless experience throughout our stay in Nepal. What an unforgettable journey! Our Everest Base Camp (EBC) adventure in June 2023 was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We were fortunate to begins on this trip just as the monsoon season began, ensuring mostly ideal hiking conditions throughout. Himalayan Recreation tailored the excursion perfectly to accommodate our family’s needs, even considering our time constraints.

Upon reaching EBC, we opted for a thrilling helicopter ride back to Kathmandu from Gorekshep, situated approximately 5200 meters high. This private tour, designed for our family of four, was an exhilarating escapade. Chij from Adventure Land Nepal, along with our experienced guide Khadka, ensured our safety and comfort throughout the journey. Chij, with over 2 decades of experience in organizing such trips, expertly managed the challenges of high altitude, motivating us through the 7-day, hiking trail.
Our decision to undertake the EBC hike was made in December 2022, and from then on, Chij provided invaluable guidance and support, offering prompt replies and occasional video calls to prepare us for the Trek. The professionalism and courtesy of the Himalayan Recreation staff were exemplary, making us feel welcome and supported from the moment we arrived in Kathmandu. In fact, trip was fully successful and got great satisfaction with their job and services.

We were 4 memebers in a group for a 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp with Adventure Land Nepal a month of November, 2023.It was an adventure that will forever be etched in our memories.

We, a 3 of adventurers, went on a trek through the majestic Himalayas. Our journey with Everest Base Camp Trekking Trails, particularly under the guidance of Chij, proved to be nothing short of extraordinary. Head on a 7-day trek to Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek with my friend was an experience beyond words. With two days dedicated to travel and five days of trekking to and from Kathmandu, every moment was filled with awe and adventure.
